Food Intolerance and Food Allergy

Welcome to the Food Can Make You Ill web site. The purpose of this site is to provide you with information and resources on food intolerance and food allergy.

The section on food intolerance is the best place to start and is essential reading for the first time visitor. Try the questionnaire, read about the symptoms, view the evidence, and find out how to get well using the 'seven step plan'.

The library is the main hub of the site. Within it you will  find a constantly developing collection of articles on the relationship between food and illness. Subjects covered include individual foods, food additives, and food chemicals such as Salicylate and Tyramine. There are also sections devoted to book reviews and true stories.

Books and Special Reports are available for purchase in the bookshop.

For the latest information on new research and details of what's new on the site please visit the notice board.

Information on the history of the site (on line since 2000) and its author, Sharla Race, can be found in the about section.
