The Crazy Makers

How the Food Industry is Destroying our Brains and Harming our Children

Carol Simontacchi

Carol Simontacchi is a nutritionist with a great concern for the way food we eat today is adversely effecting our minds. Her main concern, within the book, is on the effects of low quality/high additive foods on children.

Most parents will find the information helpful and informative. Simontacchi includes chapters on 'Building the Infant Brain', 'Nourishing a Baby's Brain', and 'Feeding Your Child's Brain'.

There are also chapters of relevance to adolescents and adults.

One of the most pleasing aspects of the book is the practical advice that Simontacchi offers to parents on how to change their children's diets which has to be one of the hardest tasks a parent can undertake once habits have formed.

The book also contains recipes.
