True Stories
Food intolerance is a hidden problem. It is something you have to
live with and
cope with every day. Understanding from others is often limited and it
is very easy to feel isolated and as if you are the only person
struggling with a restricted diet.
This, of course, is very far from the truth but until we all start
sharing our stories
we will feel lonely and set apart from others. There are now a range of
discussion forums that deal with intolerance and allergy issues which
are helping reduce the isolation but not everyone is comfortable using
these so the stories below are still vitally important in letting others
know that they are not alone.
Below is as selection of stories that have been kindly submitted to this site over the years. Please note that contact directly with an individual author is only possible if an email address is provided on the story page.
